| Summary |
The noise on power-lines is non-stationary, while the instantaneous
noise power in different frequency bands are dependent. Under such noise
environments, the instantaneous noise power in a frequency band can be
estimated by observing the noise in other frequency bands. In this
paper, we propose a receiver structure which uses the estimated
instantaneous noise power in the decoding process and show its
superiority in BER performance to conventional systems. |
